The Mirror & The Veil is the creative studio established by Rachel Grimes, a musician creating florals for events and installations since 2013. Over the years, The Mirror & The Veil has become synonymous with thoughtfully produced weddings and events throughout the U.K. Not just a solo artist, Rachel often works alongside an experienced team of florists, artists and set designers for clients with exceptional vision - creating meaningful expressions of their life, tastes and aesthetics.

As a teenager, Rachel’s experience with flowers developed for several years under the attention and care of a High Street florist shop in Tunbridge Wells. Whilst determined to continue studying Cello and develop as a Classical musician, Rachel learned many floristry techniques here that still underpin her work today.

Growing up with unfashionable tastes - Classical music, gardening, and floristry - Rachel’s work often sits just outside of the box, blending genres, and seeking to engage with nature, music, and The Arts. Within her designs there is rhythm, pattern, nuance, and tonal shifts.

Through The Mirror & The Veil, Rachel creates work that is quietly unforgettable - florals that belong entirely to the moment in which they exist, and to the people they are created for.
