My clients often arrive with an instinct or collection of ideas rather than a neatly defined plan. They are drawn to certain textures, atmospheres and moments - ideas gathered from a broad church of experiences and influences; art, music, travel, fashion, nature, memory. These references form the starting point for a design process that is intuitive, layered and deeply personal.
Floral design, at its best, is not about filling space, but about creating feeling, movement and mood in a way that lingers long after the day has passed. Flowers may be fleeting, but the moment they help create is not. My role is to listen carefully, interpret intuitively, and translate a couple’s vision into something tangible and beautifully realised for them and their guests.
The result is an event that is genre-bending and determinedly personal, led by a confident understanding of taste and executed with clarity and intention, reflecting not only the celebration itself but the life being built together.

From it’s inception, The Mirror & The Veil has been a conduit for expressive, curious, nature-based art for private events. Clients trust me not only for my creative vision, but for the way that vision is realised.
Behind every design is a meticulous process - thoughtful planning, technical understanding and a calm, experienced approach to installation. Execution is seamless, timelines are respected, and the finish is impeccable, allowing florals to exist effortlessly within the wider event.
On the day itself, designs are led by Rachel with The Mirror & The Veil team - a highly skilled group of florists and designers experienced in delivering large-scale, design-led events across the UK.
Working with Rachel on our wedding flowers was really such a dream. I had very little idea of what actual blooms I wanted in our flowers, but a very strong idea of color and feel, and Rachel took the reins and managed to perfectly translate my vision from my extensive mood-board into reality. We ended up using flowers that my grandparents grew in their summer house when I was a child, so there was an added layer of sentimental value in addition to the beauty of the arrangements. This made the whole experience feel both personal and strongly rooted in the aesthetic. We chose to work with Rachel because from the very first meeting, we had a strong feeling that she cared deeply about both our wedding and her artistry. We had a clear vision of our wedding and wanted to choose vendors that would take our initial ideas and expand upon them using their own expertise and creativity. We felt that Rachel really wanted to work with us and collaborate in this way so it was a perfect match and we couldn’t have been happier!
